All auction lots MUST BE picked up on SATURDAY, December 16, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM unless shipping or delivery arrangements have been previously agreed to by Caring Transitions. Pickup time slots will be scheduled through SignUpGenius

Shipping Instructions

 

The pickup will be on SATURDAY, December 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Buyers will be provided an opportunity to select a 15-minute arrival window on the pick-up day using ShippingSaint.

 

  1. Local pickup is preferred. Shipping is available for some item at the buyer's expense. For shipping NON-FRAGILE auction lot(s), Caring Transitions (CT) packages and uses USPS or UPS shipping. For FRAGILE auction lots, the auction lots are taken directly to a local UPS location where UPS packages and ships the auction lots. UPS packing and supplies tends to be expensive so plan accordingly when bidding. Shipping larger and fragile lots can be expensive. UPS and winning bidder assume sole responsibility for damages to the auction lot(s) packed and handled by UPS.
  2. Please note that individual auction lot(s) listings with *NOT available for shipping* were chosen as non-shipping for a variety of reasons.
  3. After your CTBids.com winning auction lot(s) invoice is paid, a separate invoice will be e-mailed for shipping, handling and materials charges. In addition to carrier shipping charges, there is a minimum handling/packaging charge of $10 per lot to cover labor and a minimum $4 charge for materials. Auction lot(s) requiring more than 10 minutes to package will be charged at a $1 per minute basis. CT automatically acquires $100 insurance or the value of the auction lot(s) whichever is highest. The separate for shipping, handling and materials is typically generated within 3 to 5 days after pick up date. Occasionally, depending on the size of the sale and amount of shipping, it may be several days after pickup before you receive your shipping invoice. Not all auction lots can be shipped. If you require shipping on an auction lot that is indicated as not shippable, please send an email before bidding to RockvilleAuction@CaringTransitions.com to inquire and discuss shipping options.
  4. All auction lots must be fully paid for before they are picked up or shipped. Items to be shipped cannot be removed from the property without payment. Therefore, if payment for the auction lot(s) is not received within 16 hours of specific auction sale closing time, the items will be forfeited and bidding privileges may be revoked. Additionally, if payment for the shipping and handling invoice is not received after 3 days of receiving the separate invoice, the auction lot(s) will be forfeited and bidding privileges may be revoked. Disposal of auction lot(s) is performed at the discretion of CT and no refund will be made.
  5. Local delivery may be available for a minimum charge of $50 depending on size of auction lot(s), need to disassemble and/or reassemble, and distance traveled to and from the delivery location. If delivery is needed, please select Delivery when you receive the email/text from ShippingSaint. If any questions please email rockvilleauction@caringtransitions.com


Payment Details

Payment Instructions


  1. Upon specific auction closing, your auction lot(s) won, will be automatically processed for payment to your primary card on file.
  2. Receipts are emailed to winning Bidders once the sale has completely closed and payment is secured.
  3. If total payment is not received by Caring Transitions (CT) within 16 hours of specific auction sale closing time, CT reserves the right to resell your winning auction lot(s) to the next highest bidder or dispose of the winning auction lot(s) at CT discretion. Additionally, CT will initiate suspension of your account and bidding privileges from the CTBids.com system. Reinstatement after suspension requires payment of the total original invoice amount plus a $25 fee.
  4. A separate email/text will be sent to winning bidders requesting selection of item receipt method: Pickup or Shipping or Delivery.
