Shipping  $10 Per Lot to process shipping - availability is indicated in each lot.

·     - Art is EXPENSIVE to ship hence most are marked Non Shippable for a Reason - on exception, we will consider extracting "prints" from frame/matting (at a cost & no guarantee successful) and rolled for a tube. If picture is a painting, framed or stretched canvas it will require a Picture Box which runs $30-35 for a box then based on size of art/picture, shipping costs can be $150 – $400 depending on dimensions, weight, and ship to address. We can NOT ship pictures larger then 37” on length & width. 

·     Fragile Lots - due to highly delicate nature, larger boxes and extra bubble and packing materials will be used - you will want to factor in cost when bidding.

Pick Up - Bring all Help to Pick Up - No assistance available. Most will be boxed. Minimum $25 haul off fee will be invoiced for items not picked up.

PickUp: One Story - @Thunderbird & 2nd - 4/1 from 8am - 1pm. Bring all labor, approp. sized vehicles for successful pick up.

SHIPPING: Shipping is available for SOME ITEMS at the Buyer's expense.  Remember, shipping is costly and can sometime be 2-3 times more then the amount you bid/paid for an item plus the $10 per lot processing/service fee. Keep that in mind when bidding. If you have a lot weighing over 20 pounds, it will be a $20 svc charge. If we have to contact you multiple times to pay your invoice you will be charged an adtl. service charge. Signature Required will be added for all shipments where invoice was over $200 and we ONLY ship to the address on file with CTbids to reduce potential fraud.

REQUESTING/PAYING FOR SHIPPING: We use Shipping Saint for shipment processing. You will receive an email and text from Shipping Saint asking you to SELECT SHIPPING. You MUST select immediately so we can pull to process in a timely manner and before sale pick up day.

Pay Ship Invoice - We will send an Email/Text when its time to pay your shipping invoice. You must do this within 24 hrs of receiving the email or you could lose your items. We do not have storage. *Note: As a backup, you can Email gsmith@caringtransitions.com and request shipping.

Make it Returnable and Delivery Guarantee:

A Third Party Vendor, SEEL, provides MAKE IT RETURNABLE (Return Assurance) and GUARANTEED DELIVERY (Shipping Protection) services for select and eligible lots on CTBids. These services can be purchased by you during the bidding process or with your CTBids Premier Membership subscription. This purchase constitutes a direct service agreement between you and SEEL and not with any CTBids or Caring Transitions franchise. SEEL is the final authority and is solely responsible for handling claims. https://www.seel.com. To start a claim or check claim status visit: https://resolve.seel.com. For return questions email: Returns@Seel.com. Please Note: The original CTBids Buyer’s Premium, shipping fees, and return shipping costs to SEEL for items are not covered or eligible for reimbursement. A request to return a lot must be made within (7) SEVEN days of delivery date or item received date (pick-up or shipped).

Bidding Terms & Conditions:

 

Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you default on your purchase (or shipping) your bidding privileges will be revoked permanently. Do not bid, if you do not plan to purchase and pick up/ship items.

If you bid, you MUST be available, or arrange for, the pick-up of your purchases on the pick-up date unless you have made prior shipping arrangements.

 

Maintenance of Payment Information- in order to place a bid, you must have valid credit card/payment information stored in your profile. By providing your credit/debit card information to Caring Transitions, you irrevocably authorize Caring Transitions to charge your primary card on file for the total purchase amount plus tax and fees/buyer premiums, shipping, handling, etc. YOU MUST KEEP A VALID, OPEN BALANCE ON YOUR CARD TO PAY YOUR BILL OR YOU COULD BE CHARGED AN ADTL. SERVICE CHARGE FOR LATE/ADMIN FEES TO SECURE PAYMENT. Caring Transitions reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion to cancel listings or bids or suspend bidding privileges of any user not maintaining valid payment information. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may collect amounts owed by charging other payment methods on file with us, and/or retain collection agencies and legal counsel. In addition, you may be subject to late/admin fees in Caring Transitions discretion which will not exceed the maximum amount permitted by applicable law.


RESELLERS & TAX-EXEMPT PURCHASES:

All resellers and tax-exempt buyers are required to provide a copy of AZ Form 5000 prior to the end of the sale - prefer a few days notice to accept your form on CTbids Account Website so that tax will not be added to your invoice. The purpose is to document and establish a basis for state and city tax deductions or exemptions. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-5009, we must have a copy of AZ Form 5000 on file for you (not your business license). We must have this on file before you get invoiced. This will allow adjustment of your invoice for the removal of sales tax. When your purchase falls into the tax-exempt category, you must send an email to notify us of your tax-exempt status PRIOR to paying the invoice. If all future purchases are tax-exempt, we can set up your profile to always remove the tax. Otherwise, this is done on a per purchase basis & you are required to notify us after winning that your purchase is tax-exempt. Completed AZ Form 5000s should be uploaded to your CTbids Account.

 

EXPRESS CHECK OUT

Receipts are emailed to winning bidders once the sale has completely closed and payment is secured. At the close of the sale, all invoices under $5,000 will be automatically charged using the primary card on file for the total amount. Purchases over $5,000 will require an auto charge of 10% of the invoice total. Remaining payment for the invoice will be handled between you and our franchise. Invoices MUST be paid in full before receiving an invoice receipt. Paid Invoices will be available for view in your CTbids.com account under Account/Invoices/RECEIPTS. 


If your card payment is declined, and we can NOT process your payment in FULL within 24 hours of sale close, item will be resold and your account will be suspended.


SHIPPING/LOCAL DELIVERY: is available for some items at the Buyer's expense. Note: Shipping/Delivery can be more and sometimes much more than the price you paid for an item. Please keep that in mind when bidding. Following the close of the sale, you will get an email and text from our shipping interface Shipping Saint that asks you to select if you are picking up or shipping. Select SHIPPING (EVEN IF YOU ALREDY SELECTED IT WHEN YOU BID ON AN ITEM. THIS IS AN EXTERNAL SYSTEM WE USE TO SHIP YOUR ITEMS AND YOU MUST SELECT SHIPPING). You will receive an email/text when its time to pay your shipping invoice. You must do this within 24 hrs of receiving email or you could lose your items. We do not have storage. As a backup, you can Email gsmith@caringtransitions.com and request shipping and/or delivery. Reminder: Each lot incurs a $10 svc charge to process shipping and you will be required to pay for Signature Required for any shipment where invoice was over $200. We ONLY ship to the CTbids Address on file. No Changes can be made due to increases in fraudulent activity with last minute address changes.

 

The exact address of the scheduled pickup will be on the paid invoice after the auction closes.

 

All items not picked up during the scheduled pickup time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold. We charge a haul off fee of $25 minimum per furniture piece (or if multiple lots won and not picked up). You will receive an adtl. invoice for this haul off fee and if not paid, removed from CTbids.


Refund Requests: You must check thru ALL of your lots and request any refunds BEFORE leaving the pick up site. No refunds will be processed after that time.


 A 18% Buyer's Premium plus sales tax will be added to the final bid amount when invoiced.

 

We have made every effort to describe Lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS, and where is. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Dimensions

given may be approximate. Items are not authenticated or appraised unless otherwise stated.

 

Bid Retractions – We only retract bids under certain select circumstances and at our sole discretion. We may NOT retract bids with 24 hours remaining before auction closes. You have 2 hours within placing a bid to contact us to retract or adjust for an incorrectly placed maximum bid. If you accidentally put the decimal in the wrong location on a max bid, we will consider retracting at the time you realized your error but no guarantees. Abuse of the bid retraction policy may result in account suspension. 

 

Questions: All questions about items including flaws, originality of artwork, quality of jewelry, etc. MUST be asked BEFORE bidding. If an item has been shipped and you have any questions or concerns, you must report this within 2 days of receiving your item. 

 

Our auction site is designed to replicate a Live Auction. When bids are placed near the close of an item, extra time is added to allow all bidders a chance to add another bid for that item. If

identical bids are placed on an item, the first person to place their bid will be awarded the item. 

 

Don’t forget about Maximum Bidding! You can preset your high bid by using this feature and the system will bid automatically and incrementally for you up to your maximum.
