Pickup:

• We use Shipping Saint to manage the shipping and pickup process. You will receive text and/or email communications informing you of the status. You must select a pickup time.
• Bring help to move items. Loading assistance is not available. Some items may be located on 2nd floor or basement. You must bring all necessary help, vehicles, tools, etc. for lifting and loading. Please do not show up at Pick Up alone if you are picking up large or heavy items! Staff are not authorized to assist with packing, moving or loading items.
• All items must be paid for before they are picked up
• You must remove all items from the lots you purchase. If you intentionally leave items behind, you will be charged a disposal fee of $25.
• No alternate pickup dates are available. If you win an item you must pickup at the designated date and time.
• Any lots not picked up during the designated pickup time will be considered abandoned. Abandoned lots may be disposed of, donated or resold by Caring Transitions. Your bidding privileges will be suspended. No refunds will be given. For those who abandon furniture or other large items, a $40 convenience/restocking fee will be added to your account balance. Account balances must be repaid before bidding privilege reinstatement is considered.

Shipping:

• Shipping is available for some items at the buyer's expense. At our discretion, we may use 3rd party shipping for packing and shipping. If 3rd party is used for packing and shipping you will pay the store directly for all packing and shipping charges.
• We have a $10 handling fee for the first lot and $2.50 for each additional lot.
• Please keep in mind that shipping can be very expensive and can sometimes exceed the cost of the item. Cost for shipping cannot be quoted before you win due to the complexity of the items being in the client's home.
• Not all lots are shippable! If an item is marked as Pick Up Only we will not ship. If you want to use a 3rd party to pickup and ship on for you please email mheine@caringtransitions.com so we know who is authorized to pickup on your behalf. The 3rd party MUST pickup during the designated pickup window and follow all Pickup guidelines listed above.
• You will receive a separate invoice for shipping from Shipping Saint for shipping and handling charges. Depending on the size of the sale and amount of shipping, it may be several days after pickup before you receive your shipping invoice.
• All items must be paid for before they are shipped.
• We will not ship partial lots. If you purchase a lot, you must ship the entire lot. No exceptions.
• Failure to pay your shipping invoice within 10 days will result in your item(s) being forfeited and disposed of, donated or resold by Caring Transitions. Your bidding privileges will be suspended. No refunds will be given.
