SHIPPING:
Shipping is available for items that are marked shippable. We will only ship to the address on file in your CTBids account. There will be no exceptions to this. Please note that items marked Pick Up Only won by bidders requiring shipping will incur additional fees for handling as follows: $20 for the first item and $5 for each additional item. We do not ship large, heavy items. Please contact the shipper before bidding if you have questions regarding shipping fees. If additional handing fees are not paid, items will be subject to forfeit. Lots will not be modified for shipping. Items are gathered at our locally scheduled pick up and either delivered to or picked up by our shipping partner.
A signature upon delivery and insurance will be required on packages in which items total $500+. At seller's discretion, shipping purchases may require further confirmation including identification verification consisting of a selfie of the bidder holding their state issued ID that contains the address on file. These are to be emailed to BrazosValley@CaringTransitions.com. In the event seller chooses to make this confirmation, items will not be shipped until verification is completed. Depending on the size of the sale and amount of shipping, it may be a week before you receive your shipping invoice.
For larger pieces, including all furniture and other larger, heavy items, the winning bidder must make their own shipping arrangements to include pick up of the item during our scheduled pick up hours by the shipper/mover of their choice. Please notify us of these arrangements so the pick up team will be aware.
Depending on the size of the sale and amount of shipping, it may be several days after pickup before you receive your shipping invoice.
You will receive an invoice from our shipping partner.
Please be aware that packing and shipping can be very expensive so please factor that in when you are placing your bid.
Make It Returnable and Delivery Guarantee: A Third Party Vendor, SEEL, provides MAKE IT RETURNABLE (Return Assurance) and GUARANTEED DELIVERY (Shipping Protection) services for select and eligible lots on CTBids. These services can be purchased by you during the bidding process or with your CTBids Premier Membership subscription. This purchase constitutes a direct service agreement between you and SEEL and not with any CTBids or Caring Transitions franchise. All items sold via CTBids of Brazos Valley and The Woodlands are in as-is condition with no refunds made by our store.
PAYMENT INSTRUCTION:
Effective 1/29/23, a valid card (Credit or Debit) is required in order to bid. Invoices/Receipts are created and emailed after all lots in an auction have closed. You may also find your receipts in your online bidding account. All items must be paid for and payment must clear by 12 pm (noon) the morning following the auction closing. If at any time during the process you have questions, please email us at CTBids of Brazos Valley and The Woodlands. Items not paid for by the deadline will be resold and your bidding privileges will be suspended.
You must schedule a pick-up appointment via Sign Up Genius. You must schedule early enough to have all of your items loaded by close of pick-up hours. We will not accommodate late pick-ups.
You must bring your own materials, boxes and manpower for packaging, lifting, carrying and loading of items.
You must remove all of your item(s) from the property at pick up. Item(s) not removed by the winning bidder will be subject to disposal fees.
