Pickup and Shipping Details
Pickup
Pickup info sent via SHIPPING SAINT - SHIPPING MIN $40 FEE. - LARGE AND HEAVY ITEMS WILL BE VERY EXPENSIVE TO SHIP
  • Pick-up will be on April 2 from 10am to 3pm in 92103
  • *There will be a Picker's Sale for winning bidders during pick-up.
  • The full address for pick-up will be on winning bidders' invoices. Winners will also be sent additional information and a link to sign up for a pick-up appointment time-slot via Shipping Saint. Please ONLY bid if you are able to attend the pick-up or if you have made arrangements with us to have your item(s) shipped. Alternative arrangements must be made in advance of a selected pick-up time and are subject to a $50 fee.

 

SHIPPING:

  • Local pick-up is preferred. Shipping or Delivery is available for some items at the buyer's expense. We use SHIPPING SAINT and USPS Mail / UPS Ground for all items that fit in a flat rate ship envelope or box. If the item does not fit in a flat rate ship box or is fragile, we may use 3rd party shipping for packing and shipping.
  • After your item(s) are paid (will include Handling fee), you will receive a separate invoice for shipping charges. Depending on the size of the sale and amount of shipping, it may be several days after pickup before you receive your shipping invoice.
  • Shipping can take up to 14 business days from the close of auction to be completed.

 

  • Failure to pay for shipping charges after electing shipping as an Item Receipt Method will result in forfeiture of your item(s) and Caring Transitions reserves the right to charge your payment method a $40 restocking fee.

 

  • All items must be paid for before they are picked up, shipped, or delivered.
  • Unfortunately, items may be damaged or broken during shipping. Therefore, all items are insured through the shipping process. Should an item arrive damaged or broken, a claim will need to be made by completing the form at this link: https://zfrmz.com/8hv4aDdul4PdQjkNhzSv. They can take between 10-14 days to process. We understand this is an inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
Payment Details
  1. Maintenance of Payment Information — In order to place a bid, you must have valid payment information stored in your profile. By providing your credit/debit card information to Caring Transitions, you irrevocably authorize Caring Transitions to charge your primary card on file for the total purchase amount of any winning bid plus any fees associated with the purchase of the item, including but not limited to taxes, shipping, and handling fees.
  2. Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you win, you must pick up your item(s) or make shipping/delivery arrangements.
  3. If you bid, you MUST get your purchases on the scheduled pick-up day unless you have made prior shipping/delivery arrangements. If you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges will be revoked permanently. Do not bid if you do not plan to purchase. 
  4. Bring necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance is NOT available. We will NOT be able to lift or carry your items beyond the sale table. Don’t forget tools, dollies, blankets, etc.
  5. Payment receipts are emailed to winning bidders once the sale has completely closed and your payment has been processed. In the event your payment cannot be fully processed, full payment must be received within 24 hours or your items will be resold and your bidding privileges will be revoked. Full address for pick-up will be on winning bidders’ invoices. If you do not receive a copy of your invoice via email, please log into your account on CTBIDS and visit Invoices/Receipts.
  6. All invoices under five thousand dollars ($5,000) will be auto charged to the primary card on file in your user profile for the total amount. Purchases of five thousand dollars ($5,000) or more will require an auto charge of 10% of whatever the invoice total is. Remaining payment for those invoices must be handled between you and the Seller.
  7. SHIPPING: see above. 
  8. All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped. Items to be shipped cannot be removed from the location without payment.
  9. An 18% Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax will be added to the final bid amount when invoiced.
  10. We have made every effort to describe lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS WHERE IS. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Dimensions given may be approximate. 
  11. Questions: ALL questions about items including flaws, originality of artwork, quality of jewelry, etc. MUST be asked BEFORE bidding. If an item has been shipped to you and you have any questions or concerns, you MUST report this within two (2) days
