Pickup and Shipping Details
Pickup
The pick up will be on Saturday April 19 from noon - 3 pm. The exact address will be on the winning bidders invoice. This is a gated community with security. Please follow instructions listed if you are winning bidder.
  1. We generally use priority USPS mail. $12 PER LOT in handling charges will be added to your sales invoice. If it is artwork, large pieces or very fragile items additional handling charges may be added.
  2. Local pick up is preferred. Shipping is available for some items at the buyer's expense. We generally use USPS Mail for all items that fit in a flat rate envelope or box. If the item does not fit in a flat rate shipping box or is fragile, we may use 3rd party shipping for packing and shipping.
  3. After your sale invoice is paid, you will receive a separate invoice for shipping and handling charges. Depending on the size of the sale and amount of shipping, it may be as long as 2 weeks after the pickup day before you receive your shipping invoice. This invoice is sent directly to your email on file from Paypal. We do not automatically charge your credit card. This invoice needs to be paid separately before the items will be shipped.
  4. Art and other large items are very expensive to ship. It will require additional packing charges as well as additional shipping charges and including insurance.
  5. If you require shipping, please make sure that the item doesn't say Pick up only before inquiring on shipping. After you pay your invoice for the merchandise, please send an email to 411@ctlaoc.com so we know not to expect you at pickup. It the item is listed as "pick up only" and you insist on shipping because you missed the pickup date we will not be responsible for breakage. We have listed it as PICK UP only for a reason. We will do our very best to package for safe transport, but will not refund for breakage or any other shipping issues.
  6. All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped.
  7. If your shipping and handling invoice is not paid within 2 weeks of receipt. The items will be considered forfeited and no refunds will be given.
Payment Details
  1. Upon completion of the auction closes and your Item win, your card on file will be automatically processed for payment.
  2. Receipts are emailed to winning Bidders once the sale has completely closed and payment is secured.
  3. The pick up address and the auction pick up time slot link appears on your invoice. No other email is sent with the address or link.
  4. To view your receipt, Login to your CTBIDS Account and go to: Invoices/Receipts.
  5. Caring Transitions reserves the right to return to seller, donate, haul-away or re-sell items that are not paid for or for which your card has been declined.
