Shipping Instructions - LOCAL PICK-UP IS PREFERRED!
Local pick up is preferred. Shipping is available for some items at the buyer's expense. We use USPS Mail for most items that fit in a flat rate ship envelope or box. If the item does not fit in a flat rate ship box or is fragile, we may use 3rd party shipping such as UPS for packing and shipping. After your items) are paid (may include Handling fee), you will receive a separate invoice for shipping charges. Depending on the size of the sale and amount of shipping, it may be several days after the pickup date before you receive your shipping invoice. When you submit your initial bid on an item, a window will pop up prompting you to select how you would like to receive your item. If you are bidding on multiple items within the same sale, you will still have to select the item receipt method (IRM) you want when you place the initial bid on each item. *Shipping Charges are not determined until items are boxed up. It the items are not packaged into a Flat Rate Box, charges are calculated using a USPS generator that goes by weight, size, and location.
Please note: "shipping" charges and "handling" charges are two different charges. Handling charges are the costs of packing material and labor. Shipping charges are what the postal services charges specifically.) *Insurance will be added to shipping charges if your package contents are over $50 value. Signature will be required for anything over $300.00
TIME-LINE:
Once your CTBIDS invoice is paid, you will then receive a shipping invoice via pay pal up to 5-7 business days from the local pick-up day. (The invoice will include handling charges, USPS charges and any additional insurance charges.) Once you shipping invoice has been paid, please allow additional 7-10 business days for your box (s) to be shipped out. We do our best to expedite but at times we do get backed up.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
Out of State Bidders - We automatically assume that any out of state winners will require shipping. If you are out of state and will be in town to get your items, please inform us to let us know you will be at pickup.
In State Bidders - We automatically assume that any in state winners will be at local pickup. If you are in state and require shipping please inform us once your invoice has been paid. Please do NOT bid if you do not plan to pay all shipping and handling charges, and please do not contact us with questions about shipping costs/estimates. Refusal to pay for shipping results in forfeiting of items with no refund, including handling charges. Additionally, your bidding privileges may be revoked.
