Pickup and Shipping Details
Pickup
Pick up is on Saturday April 5 from 12-2p. The exact address of the scheduled pickup will be on the invoice/receipt e-mailed or through SignupGenius after the auction closes. Items must be picked up by 3:00p on Saturday April 5th. If an alternate pickup day/time is requested by purchaser, a $20 charge will be assessed and must be paid within 24 hours of requesting an alternate day/time.

SHIPPING INFO:

  • All items must be paid for before shipped.
  • An estimated shipping cost is provided in the item description actual shipping costs may vary based on the final destination and shipping method selected. Any additional charges will be communicated prior to shipment.
  • Items to be shipped cannot be removed from the Estate without Winning Bid Amount, applicable Sales Tax, and Buyer's Premium (Total Amount Invoiced) and Shipping Cost Payment.
  • The Addon Shipping invoice is created and email within 7 days after the Local Pickup date.
  • The Shipping Cost Addon Service Invoice must be paid within 4 days after it is generated.
  • On the 5th Day after addon invoice is generated, unpaid shipping invoices will forfeit the winning Lots. No Refund will be given.
  • Fraudulent and scam activities (i.e. claims against non-authorization; chargebacks, etc) will be reported to local, state, and federal agencies.
  • If an item has been shipped to you and you have any questions or concerns, you MUST report this within two (2) days of receipt/delivery. Last day for any disputes is 5 days from delivery confirmation from mail/postal carrier.
  • NO REFUND ON SHIPPING COST.

  • Item Invoice/Receipt:
  • Select SHIPPING for your item receipt method by the payment and scheduling deadline listed on your invoice. To do so go to 'My Account' - select 'Invoices/Receipts', and there you can select your receipt method.
  • Email ctbids.rrtx@caringtransitions.com: within 24 hours after end of the sale or before Pickup Day. Please use “SHIPPING” in the title of your email, along with your invoice number.
  • Not all Lots can be shipped. If you require shipping and the item is not marked as shippable, BEFORE bidding, please reach out to ctbids.rrtx@caringtransitions.com to inquire.

 

Shipping & Handling Fee Addon Service Invoice:

  • Shipping costs may exceed the value of an item and winning bid invoice.
  • Shipping costs may vary.
  • Shipping is available for SOME ITEMS at the Buyer's expense. We use USPS mostly but may use FedEx, or UPS.
  • An Addon Service Invoice is generated with the cost of Shipping and Packing/Handling Fee. Winning Bidder must accept the invoice so we can process the payment for the shipping cost. This is separate from the original winning invoice payment.
  • Packing/Handling fee will be added per Shipment and based on the number of items per lot per Shipment; glass; fragility. Typically will be between $5-$25.
  • Won Multiple Lots? We will combine winning lots when shipping and determine best rate.
  • Due to an increase in fraudulent activities, precautionary measures may be taken. These measures are not limited to retracting an active bids/bidder, suspension, signature delivery ($), valid identification, or proof of address.

Payment Details

PAYMENT INFO:

 

  • Payment must be received within 24 hours of auction closing to allow for reposting/reselling of lots due to non-payment.
  • By placing a bid:
  • you confirm that if you have the winning bid, you are authorizing the auto-charge/auto from your card on file for full payment on the sale of the item, Buyer’s Premium, sales tax, shipping cost, and other fees appearing on the invoice.
  • You acknowledge and agree that all sales are final and no refunds will be given.
  • You acknowledge and agree that the invoice is paid through an auto-charge and you may not see the invoice prior to the auto-charge process.
  • We will process the payment for Lots won, Buyer’s Premium, associated fees, and applicable sales tax with the credit card on file after the auction closes.
  • Should you have any issues regarding payment of an item, please e-mail ctbids.rrtx@caringtransitions.com.
  • To view your receipt, login to your CTBIDS Account and go to: Invoices/Receipts.
  • Payment of items won may be separate from shipping cost invoice.
  • All sales are final. No Refunds or Exchanges.
  • Due to an increase in fraudulent activities, precautionary measures will be taken during or post auction sales. These measures are not limited to retracting an active bids/bidder, suspension, signature delivery, valid identification, or proof of address.
  • Fraud and scam activities are reported to local, state, and federal law enforcement.
  • $1 handling fee is added to each Lot at invoice regardless of Item Receipt Method. Total additional handling fee not to exceed $25 per invoice.
  • Jewelry: Jewelry Lots may have a $10 shipping cost associated. If address on file is more than 150 miles from Round Rock, Tx, the shipping cost will be invoiced/charged.
  • Estimated Shipping on Lots other than Jewelry: Description will show an estimate on shipping cost based on an average. We may include an estimated shipping cost in the final invoice. We will issue a refund if the actual shipping is less (within 30 days). Send us an email to inquiry about the cost if an estimate does not appear in the lot prior to bidding.
  • Lots with Estimated Shipping Cost identified will be charged if shipping is selected or more than 150 miles from Round Rock, Tx.


DISPUTES

Last day for any disputes related to monetary transactions or receipt of item is 5 days after Local Pickup Day or 5 days from delivery confirmation from mail carrier.

 

Resellers are required to have their active/non-expired sales permit certificate on file WITH CTBIDS.

 

All TEXAS Resellers and Tax-Exempt buyers wanting a sales tax exemption in an active bid/auction should email ctbids.rrtx@caringtransitions.com with the subject line “TAX-EXEMPT” and attach a completed filled and SIGNED Texas Sales and Use Tax Resale Certificate or Texas Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certification and list the Auction Name and Lot Name/SKU that are to be tax-exempt; for Seller enter Caring Transitions of Round Rock. You are the Purchaser. All Texas sales tax exemptions are done on a per purchase basis/auction. Caring Transitions of Round Rock does not accept a blanket resale certificate. The signed form must be received by 12pm on the day the auction sale closes or the day the purchase is made.
