The system will automatically prompt you to confirm your ‘Item Receipt Method’. If for any reason your ‘Item Receipt Method’ changes between the time you placed your bid and the scheduled pickup day, you MUST notify us via email or phone before the scheduled pickup day indicated on your invoice ends. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you will be receiving your items via the selected ‘Item Receipt Method’.

DELIVERY:
Caring Transitions offers an affordable delivery service for anyone who is unable to pickup their items during the designated pickup day/time. Select the Delivery option when viewing your invoice/receipt and email any special requests or instruction to tucson@caringtransitions.com within 24 hours of end of auction.
We do not provide cost estimates for shipping. Shipping costs are determined once an item has been packed, measured and weighed. An estimate can be gathered from a UPS store with the size, and weight estimation and the ship to and from zip codes. We always ship from 85713. Keep in mind that shipping costs may exceed the value of an item. Please bid accordingly. When you bid on an item and request shipping - you are buying and we are shipping the entire lot. We are unable to ship partial lots - as we have no way to deal with the unwanted items in a lot without cost to us and our clients. Simply asking us to donate - is a cost to us and/or our clients as it requires transport to a donation center.
Shipping is available at the buyer's expense. If you would like to have your purchases shipped, please select the "Shipping" option option as your ‘Item Receipt Method’ when placing a bid. You can also notify us, via email tucson@caringtransitions.com, immediately after winning. Packing/shipping charges will be billed once your initial invoice has been paid, we have received notice shipping is needed, and we have had a chance to pack your items. Shipping charges will be invoiced through Ctbids. **Packing/shipping can take up to 3-4 weeks but we do strive to have items shipped within 21 days of the auction pick up day. If you have not received an updated invoice (via email or within Ctbids) within six weeks of the auction pick up date, please contact us via email at tucson@caringtransitions.com
Shipping charges are determined by the shipping carrier (FedEx) and are added to the packing fees. Insurance above the amount provided by the shipper, equal to the invoice amount, will be added to shipping costs unless otherwise directed in your shipping confirmation email. We will pack and ship using FedEx. For invoices exceeding $300, a signature will be required upon FedEx delivery. If you would like the signature requirement removed, a photo of a valid ID with the name and address associated with the Ctbids account will need to be emailed to tucson@caringtransitions.com. We ship via Pak Mail for large, fragile, or unusual-shaped items we cannot pack. A handling/transport fee of $70 will be invoiced via Ctbids for items sent to PakMail for shipping. This fee is separate from the PakMail packing and shipping fee. PakMail will contact you with their shipping cost. Other carriers are used as special requests only. Additional charges are assessed for special shipping requests such as carrier, packing method, and more starting at a minimum of $20.
The “Billing To” address from your invoice is used for all your shipping purchases. All packages will be shipped to this same address unless you change the address on your account profile AND email us regarding this change. You MUST email and alert us of any change in address before your items are sent out or your old profile information will be used for shipping.
Packing fees are charged by the lot. The cost for packing is $10 for the first lot (a lot is any item or group of items with a single price point) and $5 for each additional lot being shipped. This cost is per an invoice. If you have an unusually large lot or unusual shaped/fragile items, you may be charged an additional material cost or the cost for Pak Mail to pack and ship the item(s).
Once billed for shipping, you will have an email notification from FedEx as well with your tracking information. If you have not approved and paid the Ctbids Add-On invoice for shipping fees within 7 days of billing, your items will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold. No refund will be issued, and your account may be suspended for non-payment.
> Any items not paid for by 8 am on pickup day WILL be considered abandoned and resold. Bidders will also be banned for nonpayment. It is your responsibility to be sure you have a valid credit card on file.
Receipts are emailed to winning Bidders once the sale has completely closed and payment is secured. All invoices under five thousand dollars ($5,000) will be auto-charged to the primary card on file in your user profile for the total amount. Purchases over five thousand dollars ($5,000) will require an auto charge of 10% of whatever the invoice total is. The remaining payment for those invoices must be handled between you and the Seller; the invoice must be paid in full before receiving a receipt for items won.
GENERAL PICKUP INSTRUCTIONS:
Please bring your own packing materials and boxes to protect your items and any assistance you may need to load and remove items from the premises. Beginning March 17, 2023, there will NOT be loading assistance available. Be sure you have enough help and cargo space to haul all your treasures. It is your responsibility to ensure everything you purchased is accounted for and is in the condition represented in the listing PRIOR to leaving the pickup site. Please bring any concerns to our attention, prior to leaving, so we may have an opportunity to resolve any dissatisfaction you may have with your purchased item(s). Any issues, missing items, not presented to us at the time of pickup cannot be resolved due to factors beyond our control. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase and assume you are unless you make us aware of issues during your pickup before you leave the premises.
> All items not picked up during the scheduled pickup time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold. No refunds will be given. You or someone you appoint are committed to retrieving all items on pickup day during pickup hours unless you have previously set up shipping, delivery, transport, or storage when available.

All transactions with out-of-state buyers requesting shipping to an out-of-state address are tax-exempt in Arizona. However, our system automatically applies taxes to each transaction when invoices are generated. If you are an out-of-state buyer and will require your items to be shipped consistently, please upload this document to your account so we can permanently mark it as tax-exempt.
All Arizona-based resellers and tax-exempt buyers are required to provide a copy of AZ Form 5000 or AZ Form 5000A (whichever applies to you) prior to the end of the sale. The purpose is to document and establish a basis for state and city tax deductions or exemptions. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-5009, we must have a copy of AZ Form 5000 or 5000A on file for you (not your business license). You MUST upload this information to your Ctbids profile, and notify us via email when you have done so prior to the end of the sale. We are not able to edit invoices after they have been paid. This will allow adjustment of your invoice for the removal of sales tax before payment is collected. If all future purchases are tax-exempt, we can set up your profile to always remove the tax. Otherwise, this is done on a per-purchase basis & you are required to notify us before the sale ends that your purchase is tax-exempt.
