Policy Regarding Auction Procedures and Shipping
**We
kindly request all bidders to carefully review our updated terms and conditions
before participating in any auctions.**
Upon the closure of an auction, winning bidders will receive an invoice/receipt via email on the same evening. Please be advised that the credit card on file will be automatically charged upon the issuance of the invoice. The invoice/receipt will include detailed information regarding the pickup location and designated time.
It is imperative to note that we are unable to accommodate alternate pickup dates or times. At CTBids Mill Creek, our pickups almost always occur the day after the auction closes, therefore, we urge participants to plan accordingly.
Winning bidders are required to ensure they come prepared with all necessary resources such as manpower, vehicles, packing materials, and tools for the transportation, loading, and potential disassembly of acquired items. Our staff is solely authorized to guide you to the location of your items and is not permitted to offer further assistance during pickups.
Shipping & Handling Details:
Shipping is EXPENSIVE and only available for SOME ITEMS at the Buyer's expense. We offer shipping as a service to you. After settling your CTBids invoice, you will subsequently receive a shipping invoice inclusive of shipping and handling charges from our partner Shipping Saint. Please allow 14 days after an auction closes to be invoiced for shipping. Shipping Saint will also provide text message notifications and email status updates. Packing and shipping charges depend on the size, weight, value, material and labor costs that go into packing the item(s), as well as where they are being shipped. If you live within Washington State and need shipping you must select shipping when prompted by our shipping service or contact us at MCOperations@caringtransitions.com, otherwise we will assume you will pick up your item(s). We use USPS and/or UPS Mail at our discretion. We DO NOT SHIP via FedEx. All shipments include insurance and tracking. Any shipping invoices not paid within 30 days will automatically be cancelled and you will forfeit your item.
Buyer Responsibility:
It is the responsibility of the buyer to cover all shipping costs associated with their order. Refusal to pay for shipping does not exempt the buyer from their obligation to cover handling fees. These fees reflect the time and effort invested by our team in processing the order. All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped.
We reserve the right to request identification matching the credit card on file before shipping high value items.
Cancellation and Refunds:
If a buyer chooses to forfeit the item due to concerns about shipping costs, the handling fee will still apply. Handling fees are non-refundable and are incurred upon placing an order, irrespective of whether the order is ultimately shipped or not. Failure to pay this fee will result in your account being banned.
**Furthermore, we do not offer any refunds on items, and once items are forfeited, we reserve the right to dispose of or resell them at our discretion.
