Pickup and Shipping Details
Pickup
Pick-up: Saturday, April 19th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in St. Petersburg, FL 33705. The full address for pick-up will be on winning bidders' invoices. You MUST sign up for pick-up using the SIGNUP GENIUS link provided on winning bidders invoice.


PICK UP:

  • The pick-up for this auction will be on Saturday, April 19th from 10:00 pm to 2:00 pm in St. Petersburg, FL 33705
  • The full address for pick-up as well as a link to schedule a pick-up appointment time-slot will be on winning bidders' invoices. Please ONLY bid if you are able to attend the pick-up or if you have made arrangements with us to have your item(s) shipped.
  • Please bring all necessary help, vehicles, materials, etc. for lifting and loading your purchases. Staff is not authorized to assist at pick-ups. You are required to bring any materials for packing and loading your items. Items may be in a basement or on the second floor. If you are not able to personally attend, you may send a representative on your behalf with a copy of your invoice.

 

SHIPPING:

  • Shipping is available on select items only at buyer's expense. NO SHIPPING ON FURNITURE, RUGS, OR OTHER LARGE ITEMS. Customers who desire shipping must email angellamartin@caringtransitions.comA $10 shipping and handling fee for the first lot (plus $2.50 for each additional lot) will be charged by Caring Transitions to ship your items. We ship via USPS Priority and Flat Rate as appropriate. However, sometimes we need to use UPS.  PLEASE ALLOW for 7-10 days after pickup before shipping and handling invoice is provided.
  • Buyer will be responsible for paying all packing, shipping, and any desired insurance charges. Please be aware that shipping charges can be very expensive and may even exceed the amount that you paid for the item, so please take that into consideration when placing your bids. If shipping is not paid for, item(s) will be considered abandoned property and will be resold or donated with no refund provided.
  • Please make sure your address is updated in CTBIDS BEFORE placing a bid. Items will be shipped to the address that appears on your invoice for that auction. If you have not updated your address, Caring Transitions is not liable for items sent to the wrong address.
  • After your sale invoice is paid, you will receive a separate invoice through PayPal for shipping and handling charges after the in-person auction pickup date. Items will not be shipped until the shipping invoice is paid.
  • Depending on the size of the online auction and the amount of shipping items from the online auction, it may be several days after the auction pickup before you receive your shipping invoice.
  • Failure to pay your shipping invoice within 30 days will result in your item(s) being forfeited and disposed of by the method that Caring Transitions deems appropriate. Your bidding privileges will be suspended until handling fees are paid.
Payment Details


TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  1. Maintenance of Payment Information — In order to place a bid, you must have valid payment information stored in your profile. By providing your credit/debit card information to Caring Transitions, you irrevocably authorize Caring Transitions to charge your primary card on file for the total purchase amount of any winning bid plus any fees associated with the purchase of the item, including but not limited to taxes, shipping, and handling fees.
  2. Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you bid, you MUST be available, or arrange for, the pick-up of your purchases on the pick-up date unless you have made prior shipping arrangements. If you win, you must pick up your item(s) or make shipping arrangements. 
  3. If you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges will be revoked permanently. Do not bid if you do not plan to purchase. All items not picked up during the scheduled pick-up time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold.  
  4. We reserve the right to request photo identification (credit card and driver's license) matching the credit card on file before shipping jewelry or high value items.
  5. Bring necessary tools and help for pick-up. Loading help is NOT available. Items may be located on a 2nd floor, basement or out building.
  6. Payment receipts are emailed to winning bidders once the sale has completely closed and your payment has been processed. In the event your payment cannot be fully processed, full payment must be received within 24 hours or your items will be resold and your bidding privileges will be revoked. Full address for pick-up will be on winning bidders’ invoices. If you do not receive a copy of your invoice via email, please log into your account on CTBIDS and visit Invoices/Receipts.
  7. All invoices under five thousand dollars ($5,000) will be auto charged to the primary card on file in your user profile for the total amount. Purchases of five thousand dollars ($5,000) or more will require an auto charge of 10% of whatever the invoice total is. Remaining payment for those invoices must be handled between you and the Seller. 
  8. SHIPPING: Shipping is available at the buyer's expense including a $10 shipping and handling fee for the first lot (plus $2.50 for each additional lot). Please see Shipping Terms for additional details. NOT ALL LOTS CAN BE SHIPPED - NO SHIPPING ON FURNITURE, RUGS, OR OTHER LARGE ITEMS. PLEASE ALLOW for 7-10 days after pickup before shipping and handling invoice is provided.
  9. All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped. Items to be shipped cannot be removed from the location without payment.
  10. A 18% Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax will be added to the final bid amount when invoiced.
  11. We have made every effort to describe lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS WHERE IS. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Electronics have been plugged in and turned on, but not tested. Dimensions given may be approximate.
  12. Bid Retraction: If you request a retraction of a bid, ALL of your bids will be retracted. We will NOT retract bids within 30 minutes of auction close.
  13. Questions: ALL questions about items including flaws, originality of artwork, quality of jewelry, etc. MUST be asked BEFORE bidding. If an item has been shipped to you and you have any questions or concerns, you MUST report this within two (2) days.
