Shipping is available on SMALL items only at buyer's expense. NO SHIPPING ON FURNITURE, RUGS, OR OTHER LARGE ITEMS. Customers who desire shipping must either mark "Shipping" on the Item Receipt Method during your bid or e-mail dlamoureux@caringtransitions.com.
We ship via UPS. A $10 handling fee will be charged by Caring Transitions to deliver your items to UPS. UPS will then contact you to receive payment for packing, shipping, and any desired insurance. Please note that we cannot answer any questions about shipping cost estimates.
Customer will be responsible for paying all packing, shipping, and any desired insurance charges. Please be aware that shipping charges can be very expensive and may even exceed the amount that you paid for the item, so please take that into consideration when placing your bids. If shipping is not paid for, item(s) will be considered abandoned property and will be resold or donated with no refund provided.
Please do NOT bid if you do not plan to pay all shipping charges, and please do not contact us with questions about shipping costs/estimates. If shipping is not paid for, item(s) will be considered abandoned property and will be resold or donated with no refund provided.
Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you bid, you MUST be available, or arrange for, the pick-up of your purchases on the pick-up date unless you have made prior shipping arrangements. If you win, you must pick up your item(s) or make shipping arrangements.
If you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges will be revoked permanently. Do not bid if you do not plan to purchase. All items not picked up during the scheduled pick-up time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold. Any costs to recycle or dispose of abandoned items is the responsibility of bidders and will be billed to them.
Bring necessary tools and help for pick-up. Loading help is NOT available. Items may be located on a 2nd floor, basement or out building.
Winning bids will be charged to the credit card on file immediately following auction close. Required credit must be available on the credit card on file, otherwise bid is forfeited and bidding account will be reviewed and bidding privileges may be revoked.
To make your payment: log into your CTBIDS account, and enter credit card information prior to bidding. Payments will be charged on winning bids at auction close.

All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped. Items to be shipped cannot be removed from the location without payment.
A 18% Buyer's Premium will be added to the final bid amount when invoiced.
We have made every effort to describe lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS WHERE IS. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Electronics have been plugged in and turned on, but not tested. Dimensions given may be approximate.
Bid Retraction: We only retract bids under certain select circumstances and at our sole discretion. We will not retract bids within 48 hours of auction close. You have 2 hours within placing a bid to contact us to retract an incorrectly placed maximum bid. Abuse of the bid retraction policy may result in account suspension.
Questions: ALL questions about items including flaws, originality of artwork, quality of jewelry, etc. MUST be asked BEFORE bidding. If an item has been shipped to you and you have any questions or concerns, you MUST report this within two (2) days.
Our auction site is designed to replicate a live auction. When bids are placed near the close of an item, extra time is added to allow all bidders a chance to win the item. If identical bids are placed on an item, the first person to place their bid will be awarded the item.
Don't forget about maximum bidding! You can preset your high bid and the system will bid automatically and incrementally for you up to your maximum.
