Delivery Guarantee Eligible1. Local pick-up is preferred. Shipping is at the buyer's expense, and shipping is not available on all items. Remember, shipping and handling costs can exceed the cost of the items and in some cases double the cost of the item.
2. Shipping Saint is our shipping and scheduling platform. After the close of the auction, winning bidders will receive an email through the Shipping Saint system, and winning bidders will be asked to choose shipping or pickup. Bidders choosing pickup will be asked to select an appointment time for pickup. Winning bidders choosing to ship will be contacted 1-2 weeks with shipping costs and the next steps to process shipping. If you do not receive the email within 2 hours of the close of the entire auction, please check your spam folder then email us at SCVoffice@CaringTransitions.com
3. Caring Transitions reserves the right to transfer shipping duties to a 3rd party shipping company at our discretion. Once transferred to a 3rd party shipping company, we do not have control over time frames.
4. When shipping is requested, the winning lots are transported from the auction site to our shipping location on or before the auction pickup day. A $10 handling fee will be added to the shipping invoice for this service. If multiple lots are won, then the first lot is assessed at $10 and each additional lot is $5.
5. UPS and USPS are the primary shipping carriers used by the Shipping Saint system, and the carriers determine shipping charges. Insurance is required on all shipments.
6. Shipping invoices must be paid prior to delivery of items to the carrier. An invoice will be emailed from Shipping Saint, including handling fees, packing & material costs, shipping fees, and the cost of insurance. We do not provide shipping estimates prior to the close of the auction.
7. Failure to pay your shipping invoice within 14 days will result in your item(s) being forfeited and disposed of by the method that Caring Transitions deems appropriate. Your bidding privileges will be suspended until handling fees are paid.
